Starting in 2020, to show appreciation for long term members, 6 elongateds were created to mark milestone anniversaries: 5 year on a copper cent, 10 year on a nickel, 15 year on a quarter, 20 year on a Susan B. Anthony dollar, 25 year on a golden dollar, and lifetime on a half dollar. To give everyone the opportunity to earn a full set, when you reach your next milestone you will receive the previous milestones. For example, a 20 year member will receive the 15, 10 and 5 year coins. Your years of membership are determined by date you joined minus any years where your membership lapsed before you renewed.
