We are happy to announce the third annual coloring contest for our young members. The winning artwork will be announced in the October-December newsletter. (Although the contest is for our YNs only, our adult members are welcome to print the entry form found at tecnews.org and color it just for fun.)
This year we will divide the entries into three categories for judging: 1) entries from YNs who are eight years old and younger, and 2) entries from YNs who are between nine years and thirteen years, and 3) entries from YNs who are between fourteen years and eighteen years
Entries will be judged by the TEC Board members on the following:
• Creativity and eye appeal
The winners in each category will receive:
• One set of 2025 World’s Fair of Money, TEC elongateds (a 6-piece set)
• One set of 2025 World’s Fair of Money, ANA elongateds (a 6-piece set)
• One free year of TEC membership. (The free year of membership must be used by the winner. If the winner is already pre-paid for future years, the next closest unpaid year will be the free year.)
The following rules apply:
• All active YN members are eligible to enter. (If you haven’t paid your dues for 2025, please do so before entering the contest.)
• You may submit ONE entry per YN membership number.
• Your entry must be the design from the entry form.
• Please do not write your name on the colored side of the entry form.
• Entries must be submitted on the entry form (or a photocopy of it) by email or “snail mail” by August 13, 2025. If you are submitting via email, please send the largest, highest-quality file you can. Entries are provided to the judges “as received.” If you are submitting via snail mail, please allow extra time to ensure your entry will arrive prior to the deadline. We don’t want anyone to be left out.
