Elongated coins (so-called because of their shape after they are rolled) are part of what’s known as “exonumia” – that is, they fall outside the usual numismatic interests. But rest assured, if you have a few, a few hundred, or a few thousand of them, you are not alone! TEC will be hosting it’s third-ever online auction on Saturday February 4, 2023 at 4PM Eastern Time.  A catalog with photos and descriptions will be available in advance.  One notable item, donated by Ben Gastfriend, is a first edition of Yesterday’s Elongateds with the original dust jacket!
